GLAFCOS MARINE provides technical management assistance to clients which can include but not limited to:

• Preparing repair and maintenance schedules, specifications, drawings etc.

• Acting as superintendent on owner's behalf for repair and alterations.

• Supervising inclining experiments, lightweight confirmation and updating of stability information.

• Calculating new and revised stability data and production of stability data and production of stability booklet/loading manuals to comply with new regulations or change of use of vessels etc.

• Preparing ullage/sounding tables.

• Monitoring the testing of equipment at maker's work, commissioning and dock trials, full sea trials programs.

• Auditing ship's maintenance proce-dures/standards on behalf of owners.

• Inspecting/auditing ship condition - GLAFCOS MARINE undertakes overall vessel inspection and issues a factual statement on the "as found" condition of the vessel, its machinery systems and outfit.
  Basic inspection check-off/record sheets and report formats are established and can be readily customized to satisfy ship-owner/operator's specific requirements etc.

• Advising on available systems and project management of implementation in the areas of planned maintenance, stock control and condition monitoring systems. Supply of requested spare parts also provided.

• Advising in a continuous-base on new technical developments and regulations to all aspects of the shipping industry in order to provide owners with cost-efficient solutions.

GLAFCOS MARINE has established a separate department to contact UTM's in order to assist vessels in service to comply with enhanced survey programm require-ments.
No matter the type of survey (special, intermediate or annual) GLAFCOS MARINE assigns a multi-disciplined person or team to attend it. GLAFCOS MARINE's technicians (mostly Naval Architects and Marine engineers) are capable and fully qualified of performing any type of UTM hull survey, and as a bureau we have the technical background, the experience and the proper software and hardware to contact subject surveys.
GLAFCOS MARINE has the potential to prepare draft reports on-board in the same way as final ones. This is due to the fact that GLAFCOS MARINE's technicians are fully equipped with portable PCs, printers and the appropriate software in order to prepare subject manuals fast, accurate and in a high standard form.
