WATER INGRESS DETECTION SYSTEM
The Water ingress Setection System is designed to meet IMO Regulation as per the declaration of 5th June 2003 and SOLAS XII ( chapter XII ) requirements.The system is Type Tested and witnessed by Classification Societies:
The system comprises of a Central Control Panel and the Water Detectors. The system is intrinsically safe and is in accordance with IMO - Performance Standards for Water Level Detectors in Bulk Carriers for compliance with SOLAS Regulation XII / 12. The system detects the level by direct means. The installation of Water Detectors is very easy. Detectors are isolated from cargo and are protected from mechanical damages due to cargo operations. The Water Detectors are totally corrosion proof and are protected from dust.
On board Loading Software for Intact & Damage Stability including several add-ons features (i.e. Loading Sequence) for all types of ships. The S/W is type approved from two IACS classes.
NautCare is an advanced hull monitoring system that monitors the bahaviour of the hull girder during navigation and, loading and unloading. It's main purpose is to prevent design stresses being exceeded. NautCare has been designed to meet all existing requirements from the Approval Classes. The system is based on an open architecture in order to be easily epandable in case od necessary or new legislation. This open architecture is mainly expressed by an Ethernet network looping the deck and connecting each sensor with the processing units. The major elements of NautCare are: a) the data acquisition unit, b) the data processing and recording unit, c) the network modules, and d) the sensor units.
OptiNav combines hardware and software elements in order to monitor, analyze and record the actual hull responses in real time. In addition the system provides information: a) for the ship responses in future loads and enviromental conditions useful for route planning, b) for the maintenance schedule based on the actual ship experience that has been recorded, c) integrate weather forecasting sea state and ship routing in order to predict ship's responses and assess fatigue level, and d) provides audibel and visual alarms indications as also an extensive alarm events recordin.
Advance Yaght Management Suite that provides integrated management for: a) systems including M/E and Auxiliaries, b) yaght load status, tank levels, etc, d) comfort, e) security, f) hull responses and accelerations, g) navigation support system, h) integration of the marine devices and the mapping system, and k) Manoeuvering assistance.
